Julianna Menna

thebride45x35juliannamenna

“Julianna Menna is a professional painter working in the Philadelphia area. She was trained as a designer at the Russian State Academy of Art and Design in St. Petersburg, Russia. Over the years, her work has progressed along a variety of paths, most recently including a series of skull-like creatures mixed with various imaginary period costumes and locales.  Most of her technique is self-taught as she has moved on to work in a variety of new media during the intervening years including oils, acrylics and watercolor. Julianna likes to make surrealistic and fantastic imagery that alludes to a broader narrative context.” – Grumbacher

I truly love the aestethic of her works, so unique and fascinating.

Thule and Vril Society – Maria Orsic

Maria Orsic – WWII era Medium and leader of Vril , which was an offshoot of the Thule Gessellschaft Society in Nazi Germany. Her story is amazing, and sounds almost like a sci-fi story and has convincing documentation of its true existance. She dissapeared in March of 1945 and some say that she and others went to a Star system 68 light years away from ours.

In the year 1919 Maria moved to München, to her boyfriend, who became later her fiancé. It is unknown whether they married or not, because they both disappeared in 1945.

In Munich Maria was in contact with the Thule Gesellschaft and soon she created her own circle together with Traute A. from Munich and several other friends: the “Alldeutsche Gesellschaft für Metaphysik”, official name of the Vril Gesellschaft. All of them were young ladies, which among other things were against the arising fashion of short hair-styles for women. Both Maria and Traute were beautiful ladies with very long hair; Maria was blond and Traute was brown-haired. They had long horse tails, a very uncommon hairstyle at that time. This became a disctinctive characteristic in all the women who integrated Vril which was maintained till May 1945. They believed that their long hair acted as cosmic antennae to receive alien communication from beyond. In public, however, they hardly ever exhibited the hair in horse tail style.

Maria claimed to have received mediumistically transmissions in a secret German Templar script – a language unknown to her – containing technical data for the construction of a flying machine. Vril documents mention these telepathic messages had their origin in Aldebaran, a solar system 68 light-years away in the constellation Taurus. She had two piles of papers: one with the Templar script, the other with a legible writing. Maria suspected the second pile would be written in an ancient eastern language, it turned out that the apparently misterious language was actually ancient Summerian and hence the language of the ancient Babylonian culture founders. Sigrun, from the Vril gesellschaft helped translate the language and decipher the strange mental images of a circular flight machine.

Hess found unnerving to watch Maria Orsic’s eyeballs rolling back and showing only whites, and to see her slumping backward in her chair, mouth agape. A weird voice then identified itself as “the Sumi, dwellers of a distant world, which orbits the star Aldebaran in the constellation you call Taurus the Bull”, according to the voice, the Sumi were an humanoid race who had briefly colonized Earth 500 million years ago. The ruins of ancient Larsa, Shurrupak and Nippur in Iraq had been built by them. Those of them who survived the great flood of Ut-napishtim (the Deluge of Noah’s Ark) had become the ancestors of the Aryan race. While Maria was still in a trance, she scribbled several lines of bizarre looking marks, those marks turned out to be ancient Summerian characters, the language of the founders of the oldest Babylonian culture.

In December 1943 Maria attended, together with Sigrun, a meeting held by Vril at the seaside resort of Kolberg. The main purpose of the meeting was to deal with the “Aldebaran project”. The Vril mediums had received precise information regarding the habitable planets around the sun Aldebaran and they were willing to plan a trip there. This project was discussed again the 22nd January 1944 in a meeting between Hitler, Himmler, Dr. W. Schumann (scientist and professor in the Technical University of Munich) and Kunkel of the Vril Gesellschaft. It was decided that a Vril 7 “Jäger” would be sent through a dimension channel independent of the speed of light to Aldebaran. According to N. Ratthofer (writer), a first test flight in the dimension channel took place in late 1944. The test flight almost ended in disaster.

Maria Orsic disappeared in 1945. The 11th of March of 1945 an internal document of the Vril Gesellschaft was sent to all its members; a letter written by Maria Orsic. The letter ends: “niemand bleibt hier” (noone is staying here). This was the last announcement from Vril, and since then noone heard again from Maria or the rest of members. It is speculated they escaped to Aldebaran…

The Green Man – Charlie No Face

While sometimes urban legends are based on nothing but complete fiction, occasionally there is a kernel of truth to the stories, albeit with more fantastical details added over the years. This is one of the latter. You see, the legend of the Green Man, also known as “Charlie No Face,” is based on a real person who suffered a horrific accident as a child.

In the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, children are often told the tale of a monstrous creature, a faceless man that wanders the streets at night, stalking the roads, looking for prey.  They call him the “Green Man” or “Charlie No Face”.  “If you go out after dark, Charlie No Face may grab you.”  “If you stay out too late,  you may run across the Green Man who will steal your face to place over the gaping hole where his  face once was.”  “He roams the hollow late at night and chases the parkers and the loafers away.” It’s a right of passage in the area – young people frighten themselves and others with stories of the Green Man or Charlie No Face. The legend says that Charlie No Face was a utility worker who was killed by a downed power line that burnt off his face and tinged his skin green.  In another version of the tale, Charlie No Face was struck by lightning, failed to die, and crept into an old abandoned house where he lived out the rest of his days venturing out only at night to terrorize residents of the area.

Raymond Robinson was born on October 29, 1910 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.  On June 18, 1919, when he was eight years old, Raymond was heading to a local swimming hole with some friends when he stopped to climb up the Morado Bridge, which spans Wallace Run outside of Beaver Falls, to see if a bird’s nest located high on a girder contained any birds or eggs.  It was understood that the bridge, which has since been torn down and replaced, supported an electric trolley cable carrying 22,000 volts of electricity (some say 1,200 volts – there were multiple trolley cables laid across the bridge).  It was also known that another child, Robert Littell, had died after touching the dangerous cable a year earlier. Because of this, the other boys were afraid to climb the girders of the bridge.  But not little Raymond.  As Raymond climbed the bridge trestle, he slipped and fell, touching his face and upper body on the trolley cable as he tumbled to the ground.  The electrical shock he sustained produced a powerful explosion and little Raymond was gravely injured. Raymond was expected to die from his injures but somehow, Raymond survived.  Unfortunately, his face looked “as if it had been melted with a blow torch”. His eyes were gone. His nose was gone. His lips and ears were terribly disfigured. His left arm was burned off at the elbow and his upper torso was badly scarred. As a result, Robinson spent considerable time in Pittsburgh hospitals after the accident but numerous surgeries, which basically amounted to sewing flaps of skin across the gaping holes where his eyes and nose had been located, did little to improve his appearance.

The legend of the “Green Man” began circulating around the 1950s when drivers spotted Ray during his walks along the side of the road. Locals believe the name “Green Man” originated from the green shirts Ray reportedly occasionally wore out on his walks. However, it should be noted that locals more commonly called him “Charlie No Face.”

Ray’s nighttime walks became fewer and far between as he aged. Then they stopped completely in the 1980s when he moved into the Beaver County Geriatric Center. He died there of natural causes at the age of 74, on June 11, 1985.

Tomino’s Hell

WordPress reminds me that it’s been a month since my latest post was published, which is a very long time. I’m very sorry about it but I guess we all have to deal with the fact that I’m the worst blogger in the blogosphere. I swear that even if I’m not posting a lot lately, I’m still working for you and you will see the final result pretty soon (and I’m sooo excited about it!). Now, enough with this chit-chat and let’s get on with this new post!

Tomino’s Hell (Tomino no Jigoku – トミノの地獄 ) is an ancient Japanese poem written by Yomota Inuhiko in a book called “The Heart is Like a Rolling Stone” and even before, included by Saijo Yaso in his 27th collection of poems in 1919.

Hello, I’m an alien!

tumblr_n9lswrhqys1ru5h8co1_500

I’ve been abducted by the aliens and that’s why I haven’t been posting lately.

Well, the truth is a lot less fascinating, I’m just experiencing some technical difficulties, but the real part is that I might be an alien.

There’s a theory that’s been driving the web crazy during these last years, which is about the RH Negative blood type.

According to this “scientific” theory, in the distant past, extraterrestrial beings visited the Earth and created, through “genetic manipulation,” the Rh Negative with an intention of creating a race of “slaves”. Experts can’t agree about where the origin of this side order of humans may have originated – fallen angel or aliens as possible sources, but they do agree on the characteristics which can include:

  • Higher than average IQ
  • More sensitive vision and other senses.
  • Lower body temperature
  • Higher blood pressure (or lower than average)
  • Increased occurrence of psychic/intuitive abilities
  • Predominantly blue, green, or hazel eyes
  • Red or reddish hair
  • Increased sensitivity to heat and sunlight
  • Cannot be cloned
  • Extra vertebra

Once you have finished checking yourself over, if you are Rhesus Negative you are already very special as very few (15%) people fall within that category. But what does Rhesus Negative mean exactly? Of the human blood types, O is the most common. It is a universal blood type. Blood types are further broken down into two groups, negative and positive. This is called the RH factor. The RH factor is the Rhesus (rhesus as in monkey) blood factor. If your blood tests positive for this, you have the factor in your blood. If you test negative, you do not have the factor in your blood. The RH factor is a protein found in the human blood that is directly linked to the Rhesus Monkey.

Most people, about 85%, have RH-positive blood. That could support the idea that humans evolved or were derived from Primates. 15 % of humans have RH-negative blood. If blood type is one of least mutable human characteristic, where did the RH negative come from? This question has puzzled scientists for years. There is some evidence that suggests the RH-negative blood group may have appeared about 35,000 years ago. And the appearance was regional and seemed to, originally, be connected with certain groups/tribes of people. Northern Spain and Southern France is where you can find some of the highest concentration of the RH-negative factor in the Basque people. Another original group were the Eastern/Oriental Jews. In general, about 40 – 45% of Europeans have the RH-negative group. Only about 3% of African descendent and about 1% of Asian or Native American descendent has the RH-negative group. Due to the larger European numbers, it is a safe bet that was where it was introduced into the human genetic code. This would lend credence that the RH-negative factor was introduced from an outside source. Could the source be from human like beings from another planet?

tumblr_nmbbcasxfm1rrweqzo1_500

Of course this is just a pretty weird theory, but as I’m in that 15% I find this topic very interesting. I WANT TO BELIEVE!

Please let me know your opinions in the comment section as I’d love to know what you think!
